West Coast Softball
Although the West Coast did not join the New Zealand Softball Association until three seasons ago, it has accomplished big things in a very short time. This season 10 men’s teams and eight women’s teams take the diamonds each Saturday in the West Coast competitions. The extremely high standard demonstrated by the representative team on a recent visit to Christchurch shows that it will not be long before teams from this centre will be making their presence felt at the national tournaments.
