WINDOWS FOR CATHEDRAL
Relic Of Bishop Harper
Three lattice windows, which were first used in the house occupied by Bishop Harper on his arrival in Christchurch in 1856. will be presented to the Bishop, of Christchurch (the Rt. Rev. A. K. Warren). This advice was received yesterday from Mr L. M. Nutt, president of the New Plymouth Historical Society, which is making the gift. Bishop Warren said last evening it was planned to install these lattice windows in extensions to the Cathedral, which the chapter hoped to undertake soon. For Bishop Warren, the gift had special pleasure, because this week marks the thirtieth anniversary of his service in the Diocese of Christchurch. It was in December, 1929, that he was appointed to the parish of Rom, in South Westland.
