Athletics WILSON TO RUN IN N.Z.
N.S.W. Half-Mile Champion (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) SYDNEY, December 2. The itew South Wales halfmile champion, Dennis Wilson, has accepted an invitaion to compete in New Zealand on January 30 and February 1, Wilson, who has not done much competitive running so far this season, expects to be in top form by then. He will return from New Zealand immediately after his race on February 1 to compete in the State championships on February 6 and 13. Wilson has been training privately, but athletic officials believe he will test himself in club races before going to New Zealand. He was a member of the team which successfully bettered the 4xl mile world relay record last season.
