Expensive Fire In Factory
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) SYDNEY, December 2. Firemen battled for more than three hours early today to bring under control a fire which caused thousands of pounds worth of damage to a plastics factory at Marrickville, a western suburb of Sydney. Fire brigades from six stations battled the huge blaze which at one stage threatened five nearby factories. The fire was fanned by a 30 m.p.h. wind. The fire was brought under control about 4.30 a.m.
