New Guinea Native Survey.— The Australian Government is sending a psychiatrist to New Guinea to study the mental health of New Guinea natives. The psychiatrist, Dr. Alex Sinclair, last made a survey of the territory’s native mental health situation in 1957, and reported that a mental health problem could develop, particularly among the more sophisticated natives in contact with European culture. He said these natives were “caught between two countries.**
