Indian Team For First Test
BOMBAY, December 1. The Indian team for the first test with Australia in Delhi, starting on December 12, was announced tonight as follows: G. S. Ramchand (captain), N. Contractor, P. Roy, Abbas Ali Baig, P. R. Umrlgar, C. Borde, U. G. Nadkarni, P. G. Joshi, V. Murriah, R. G. Desai, Surendra Nath. Twelfth man: B. K. Kuderam. Ramchand, who has played in 28 tests, will be leading India for the first time.
