Repetition Of Wimbledon (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) MELBOURNE, December 8. The final of the Victorian women’s singles tennis will be a repetition of the last Wimbledon match with Maria Bueno (Brazil) playing Christine Truman (England). Today, in the semi-final at Kooyong. Miss Truman beat Jane Lehane. S-7, 7-3, 8-0, and Miss Bueno beat Mrs Mary Reltano, 8-1, 4-6, 6-1 In the two big semi-finals of the men’s singles tomorrow Roy Emerson will meet Bob Mark and Neale Fraser is to play Martin Mulligan. Today’s results of the Victorian tennis championships were:— Women’s Singles.—Semi - Anal: Christine Truman beat Jan Lehane, 3-7 7-5, 6-0; Marl# Bueno beat Mary Reltano, 6-1, 4-6, 6-1. Men’s Doubles.—Semi-finals: Neale Fraser ana Roy Emerson beat Fred Stolle and Ken Fletcher, 6-3, 6-4, 6-3; Bob Howe and Bob Hewitt defeated Bob Marks and Martin Mulligan, 9-7, 6-2, 6-1. Women’s Doubles. —Quarter-finals: Jan Lehane and Margaret Hellyer beat J Shearer and M. Burke, 6-4, 8-6; Mary Hawton and Fay Muller beat A. Rae and R, Lesh, 6-3, 6-2. Mixed Doubles.—Quarter-finals: Bob Hewitt and Mary Hawton beat J HUlebrand and J. White. 6-8, 6-1, 8-4.
