Royal Society Elects Officers
Officers of the Canterbury branch of the Royal Society of New Zealand declared elected at the annual meeting last evening are:
President, Professor W. Philipson; vice-presidents, Dr. C. D. Ellyett and Mr W. H. Bowen; secretary, Mr E. R. Mangin; treasurer, Mr C. H. Labatt; librarian, Mr C. W. Collins; representatives on the council of the Royal Society of New Zealand, Dr. C. D. Ellyett and Mr C. W. Collins; council of the Canterbury branch, Dr. Ellyett, Mr Collins, Dr. R. M. Allison, Dr. R. S. Duff, Professor G. A. Knox. Dr. W. M. Platts, Mr C. R. Russell, and Mr E. G. Turbott; auditor, Mr E. Standring.
