Fight Against Malaria
GENEVA, December 1 The World Health Organisation said in a progress report yesterday that its campaign to eradicate malaria is achieving successful results in all parts of the world. The organisation said that malaria had been completely eliminated in the United States, Chile, Martinique, Barbados, Puerto Rico, Corsica, Italy, Cyprus, Holland, and most of the U55.R. The campaign was progressing satisfactorily in South-east Asia and the western Pacific.
