Forecast: Nelson.—Moderate northerly winds, fair to cloudy and mild. Outlook: cloudy Marlborough.—Moderate to fresh winds from an easterly quarter; fair to cloudy, with moderate temperatures. Outlook: cloudy. West Coast.—Light to moderate north-westerly winds predominating; areas of drizzle and fog, clearing for a time about the middle of the day; temperatures moderate. Outlook: similar Canterbury.—East to north-east winds, becoming fresh; cloudy skies, with areas of drizzle and fog during the morning and again at night; temperatures moderate. Outlook: similar.
