Twelve-year-old Chris Harding, of,the Melbourne suburb of Canterbury, yesterday bought a second-hand mantel clock for 5s as a Christmas present for his mother. Police saiid he could have it if no one established a claim to it in three months. \ Chris told reporters he was worried—“ Mum knows what I was going to give her now, so I guess I’ll have to save up and buy something else.”
