JUNIOR CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE
International Award To Blenheim (New Zealand Press Association) BLENHEIM, December 1. The international project award made each year by the Junior Chamber of Commerce movement has this year been awarded to the Blenheim chamber. This year’s award was alloted at. the International congress in RiO de Janiero. Blenheim, which a few weeks ago won the New Zealand award, staged as a contribution to the Marlborough Centennial celebrations an industries fair last February. This was an outstanding success and more than £lOOO was handed to the Centennial Committee for the Centennial Building Fund. Evidence of the extent of the fair, numbers of members involved, and its impact on the community were submitted for judging.
