FIRST TEST IN INDIA
Ramchand To Be Captain

The Indian cricket selectors today named the all-rounder, G. S. Ramchand, as captain for the first test against the Australians at Delhi on December 12. He replaces Datta Gaekwad, who captained the Indian test side in England this year, and who is believed to be ill.
