RELIGIOUS DRAMA SOCIETY
Mrs M. G. Sullivan Life Member
The Rt. Rev. A. K. Warren, Bishop of Christchurch, was reelected . patron, and Mrs M. G. Sullivan was re-elected president, of the Christchurch Religious Drama Society at the annual meeting recently. Mrs Sullivan presented the annual report and spoke of the last year’s work, thanking members, particularly committee members, for their enthusiasm and support. The affairs of the society were in a particularly healthy state, she said, and members could look forward to an interesting year in 1960
Mrs Sullivan was unanimously elected the first honorary life member of the society. Putting the motion Mrs Neville Vincent spoke of the valuable work Mrs Sullivan had done as president for the last nine years, both in establishing the society, and in working untiringly to keep it a live and active one.
There was a reading of the Coventry Nativity play, which had been arranged by Mrs Paul Goddard,
