COMMERCIAL Business Again Lively On Stock Exchange
Business was again lively on the Christchurch > Stock Exchange yesterday. Bank of New South Wales advanced 5s to sell at £36 10s. New Zealand Breweries firmed 6d to sell at 51s. Wright Stephenson improved 6d on sales made last week to changd hands at 44s 3d. Tasman firmed 9d to sell at 26s and there was a brisk run on Waltons, up 6d, at 13s 6d. L. J. Hooker 1964 options rose 4d to 9s; Griffins, cum dividend, were Is better at 18s 6d. In the unlisted section Kaiapoi Woollen improved Is 6d to 30s 6d.
