Runners Reinstated
(New Zealand ’ Press Association) WELLINGTON. December 1. Two Auckland athletes who competed in a “king of the mountain" race at Mount Wellington in October infringed their amateur status. However, the management committee of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association tonight, after hearing the circumstances under which M. May (the winner) and D. Eustace (second) competed in the race, decided they did not do jo "knowingly and wilfully or negligently.” and approved their reinstatement.
