Go-Kart Reaches New Plymouth
(New Zealand Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, Dec. 1. The Aucklanders, J. Stevens and D. Sinton, who are attempting to break the international long-dis-tance go-kart record by driving 483 miles from Auckland to Wellington, reached New Plymouth this afternoon. The go-kart left Auckland yesterday morning and Hamilton this morning. After staying overnight in New Plymouth, the drivers will travel to Palmerston North tomorrow, and they hope to reach Wellington on Thursday.
