Dr. Fidel Castro who last night attacked the upper classes and foreign interests in Cuba. In a violent speech to a tumultuous throng of 500,900 in Santiago de Cuba, the bearded Prime Minister vehemently repudiated even those wealthy persons who had aided his revolution against the dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista. "We had the disgrace that a number of rich persons helped the revolution,” Dr. Castro declared. "It would have been better if they hadn’t helped.” —Havana, December 1.
