Premium On Lambs
Lambs under 361 b weight killed at North Island and South Island works of Thomas Borthwick and Sons (Australasia), Ltd., so far this week have qualified for a premium payment of 2s a head. The company is now awaiting the announcement of the deficiency payment on lamb for the current week, which is expected today, so that it can complete its payments to clients. This information was given from Masterton last evening by Mr P J. Borthwick, New Zealand director for the company.
