Eisenhower Plans Broadcast
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) WASHINGTON, Nov. 30. President Eisenhower will speak to the people of the United States on Thursday night just before leaving on his eleven-nation tour, the White House announced today. The announcement was made several hours after the President gave congressional leaders of both parties a preview of his goodwill tour and received their unanimous “good luck” messages for his mission.
Mr Eisenhower will speak from his office, then leave immediately on a flight to Rome the first leg of his 22,370-mile trip.
