90-Hole Match In ■ Australia (NA Prest AssiKnatum—CopyngMi MELBOURNE, Nov. 23. Golfers from 14 countries will compete in the 90-holes £A2500 tournament which starts at Victoria Golf Club, on Wednesday. The Australian Canada Cup winners Peter Thomson and Kel Nagle—this time as rivals—will head the players chasing the £650 first prize. The British Ryder Cup players Dai Rees, David Thomas, Peter Alliss and John Panton will compete. Other top players in the event are F. X. Buckler and J. L. Kelly (New Zealand), Flory van Donck, erne of Europe’s greatest golfers, the Irish player Harry Bradshaw, who won the Canada Cup with Christy O’Connor last year, Angel Miguel (Spain) and the two Egyptians Cherif Said and Mohamed Said Moussa. Competitors will find Victoria a magnificent course with the greens not as fast as Royal Melbourne, where the Canada Cup was played but just as true. It is Peter Thomson’s home course. He was a member there when an amateur and is still attached to the club as tournament professional. Victoria’s 6717 yards is made up of 3355 yards out (par 34) and 3362 yards horrte (35).
