Trainer’s House Razed

(New Zealand Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH, Nov. 20. A 50-year-old wooden house attached to the racing establishment of J. L. Clements was razed by fire In the early hours of this morning. The house, owned by R. T. Stewart, of Kiwitea, was covered by insurance, but Clement’s loss is almost the entire extent of personal property, including many valued racing trophies as well as several prizes won by his son, B. L. Clements, a former leading apprentice. The house was at one time occupied by George New and J. L. Muir.
