ACCLIMATISATION SOCIETIES
Control By Single Department The council of the North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society wants the affairs of the acclimatisation societies to be controlled by the Internal Affairs Department. At present the Marine Department and the Internal Affairs Department control the societies. The North Canterbury Society will raise the matter as a remit at the next meeting of the Council of South Island Acclimatisations Societies at Oamaru next March.
