Hard of Hearing League.— Members' of the Christchurch branch of the New Zealand League for the Hard of Hearing were entertained recently by the recorder band of the Sumner School for the Deaf at an afternoon function. The group was trained and conducted by Mr L. B. Hogue and Miss S. Swann was the accompanist. A successful street Sale at New Brighton recently resulted in more than £BO for the league’s funds.
