POSITIVE SWABS
Eligibility Of Horses A special meeting of the New Zealand Trotting Conference will be called to discuss a remit to be put forward by the executive of the conference, on the eligibility of horses ,which have returned positive swabs to start in races before their cases have been decided. This action was decided on at a meeting of the* executive on Tuesday evening. The remit will be that until such time as all the hearings connected with a positive return have been completed and a final judgment given, the horse or horses shall not be eligible to start at a totalisator meeting The remit will be similar tn that adopted by the New Zea land Racing Conference lasi July.
