MILFORD HOTEL REPAIRS
Carpenters Ahead Of Schedule (New Zealand Preet Associattoa) INVERCARGILL, Nov. 12. Work on rebuilding the fire* ‘damaged kitchen and two dining rooms of the Milford hotel is five days ahead of schedule. Mr Hans Gfeller, manager of the hotel,’ in a telephone interview today, said at the present rate of progress the reconstruction would be completed by December 12. He said the opening of the hotel Would, however, be held up until December 21, to complete interijjL decoration of the rebuilt dintMM room, staff dining room and WW chen. Carpets, curtains and other accoutrements might not arrive in time. The dining room was completed and the interior plastering done and the kitchen and staff dining room were nearing completion. All concreting was completed, said Mr Gfeller.
