Elvis Presley’s Latest Record Banned
The Broadcasting Service recently announced that Elvis Presley’s latest release, “Big Hunk O’ Love,” will not be heard on Hit Parade or Request Sessions as it’ has been banned from broadcasting. However, Elvis's fans can still procure “Big Hunk O’ Love” at Sedley Wells, High st. or Riccarton rd. Sedley Wells thoroughly recommend “Big Hunk O’ Love” to all Presley fans. It was recorded shortly before Elvis Presley entered the Army last year and it will be the last to be released before he is demobbed in March, 1960. It is reminiscent of his earlier rock style and is actually one of the very few teal rock ’n’ roll numbers currently popular. You are invited to call and listen to “Big Hunk O’ Love" at any time without obligation at Sedley Wells, High st. and Riccarton rd. —Advt.
