PARLIAMENTS DIARY
After formal business, which Included the asking of nine questions and the consideration of reports of petitions committees, the House of Representatives dealt with legislation yesterday.
Three measures were introduced and read a first
time. They were the Veterinary Services Amendment Bill, the Police Offences Amendment Bill, and the Companies Special Investigations Amendment Bill.
The House then passed 15 measures through the committee stage. Some time was spent in the evening on the second-reading debate on the Wildlife Amendment Bill, which concluded shortly before the House adjourned at midnight until 9.30 a.m. today.
