Sir,—May I commend Mrs Thom’s delightful article, “Test Fever.” What we wives and mothers suffer in the cause of sport! The scenes she so clearly describes could be found in every detail in our predominantly male household, even to the interminable post-mortems and commentaries. What a prospect i—Yours, etc., SPORTS WIDOW. October 8, 1959.
