Damaged Flying-Boat Repaired
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, October 4. A Tasman Empire Airways Solent flying-boat reached Tahiti from Samoa today after engineers had repaired its damaged elevator at Aitutaki. A DC-6 carrying repair engineers and a large replacement elevator flew from Auckland to meet the damaged flyingboat at Aitutaki. The DC-6 returned to Auckland today with 16 passengers tom Aitutaki
