“The Press’‘ Special Serihce AUCKLAND. October 2. Charitable bequests totalling £l2OO have been made in the will of Miss Ethel Frances Lingard, of Auckland, who died on August 28. Miss Lingard was the daughter of a former vicar of St Luke’s Church, Christchurch. Archdeacon E. A. Lingard. of Akaroa. Her estate was sworn for probate at under £9OOO. She has left £lOO each to the vestries of St Luke's, Christchurch, and the Holy Sepulchre. Auckland; and £2OO each to the Order of the Good Shepherd, the Orphan Home Trust Board orphanage at Papatoetoe, St Mary’s Homes, Otahuhu, the Church of England Maori Mission, Auckland, and the Melanesian Mission. Auckland. The executor of the estate is the Guardian Trust.
