Diffidence Wins At Ascot
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) LONDON. September 24 Lord Rosebery's Diffidence won th* Clarence House Stakes, over six furlongs. at Ascot today. Mr R. Foster'* Tudor Court was second, and Mr Harry F. Guggenheim's Tooth and Nail third. Ten ran. Official starting prices were: 9 to 2 Diffidence, 4 to 1 Tudor Court, 8 to 1 Tooth and Nall, Dollar Piece was favourite at 11 to 4.
