Up And Coming Injures Leg

The New Zealand champion, Up and Coming, arrived at San Francisco by air yesterday from Sydney with an injury to his right hind leg stiff from his long trans-Pacific flight.
Up and Coming injured his leg in kicking in his stall aboard the Qantas Empire Airways Skymaster cargo aeroplane that brought him and four other horses to the United States.
With Up and Coming was the New Zealand-bred Vogel. The two horses will race in the 100,000 dollars International Stakes at Laurel, Maryland, on November 11.
