Strong Field In First Leg "The Press" Special Service WELLINGTON, September 25. In an open issue Reconvey, Amastris, Ruve and Sunrayed vie for favouritism in the Rere Nikitini Memorial Handicap, the first leg of the T.A.B. double, on the concluding day of the Otaki Maori Racing Club's meeting tomorrow. This double will be completed by the Ruihi Wehipelhana Memorial and Huka Falls, after her close second to The Destroyer at Marton recently, is assured of strong support. There has been rain during the week and the going will be heavy. Selections:— 11.10 a.m.—Puketoi Hack Hurdles: Hapny Monarch, Amber Lu, Blue Rock. 11.50 a.m.—Manuao Trial No. 1: Unique Affair, Advance General, Royal Azure. 12.35 p.m.—Pukekaraka Hack Handicap: Roman Maid, Romantic Knight, Ranganui. 1.15 p.m.—Manuao Trial No. 2: Sweet Cindy, Silver Sprite, Fair Talk. 2 p.m.—Nikitin! Memorial Handicap: Reconvey. Amastris, Sunrayed. 2.45 p.m.—Otaki Hack Handicap: Goldish, Uniflow,- Gold Splice. 3.30 p.m.—Wehipelhana Memorial Handicap: Huka Falls, Kathy’s Romance Wonderway. 4.15 p.m.—Rahul Hack Handicap: Terrore Rosso, Kilroy, King Lear.
