The present Dietary Block, which I provides some 950 meals per diem, was opened in 1956 and features modern equipment and facilities. The hospital has 310 available beds. The Appointee would be required to lecture Student Nurses in Nutrition and Diet Therapy. Employment would be governed by the Hospital Employment (Dietitians) Regulations, 1957. Salary would be within the scales £B3O-£955 or £740-£B3O. The commencing rate and maximum will be fixed by the Dietitians Salaries Grading Committee in accordance with the qualifications, experience and ability of the Appointee.
