N.Z. Piper’s Playing Commended

Among the entrants at a Highland piping contest at Inverness today was Allan Dodd, of New Zealand. , “Th£ Times,” in commenting on Dodd’s playing of the pibroch “Contullich's Lament,” said that "his pipe was strong and melodious, and his performance was an attractive one in the playing of a long and rather monotonous tune.”
