R.N.Z.A.F. AIRMAN KILLED IN 1943
Canadian Anxious To Trace Next-Of-Kin (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 22. A member of the crew of one of the two Royal Canadian Air Force Argus anti-submarine aircraft due at Whenuapai tomorrow is anxious to get in touch with the relatives of an R.N.Z.A.F. airman who was killed on operations over Turin, Italy, on July 12, 1943. The Canadian Flight-Lieu-tenant A. G. Plummer, seeks the next-of-kin of Flight-Sergeant John Pickett, whOstf address at that time was Mission Bay, Auckland. It is understood he had a sister and step-brother living in New Zealand, and R.N.Z.A.F. headquarters, Wellington, will forward any information to the Canadian visitor.
