WEDNESDAY (Before Mr E. A. Lee, S.M.) NO WAGES BOOK For a breach of the Shops and Offices Act in failing to keep a wages and time book, Nellie Keats, a cake-shop proprietor, was fined £2. UNREGISTERED DOGS In prosecutions brought by the City Council against the owners of unregistered dogs the following were fined: N. E. Cox, £2; K. Boyd, £2; A. E. Drake, £2: E. A. Saywell, £3. REMANDED The mental capacity of one of two women who were found in a yard was open to doubt, said Sergeant E. S. Tuck, applying for a remand. The women were charged with being unlawfully on enclosed premises. Efforts had been made by charitable organisations to help both women, Sergeant Tuck said. The women, aged 32 and 56, had their names suppressed and they were remanded to October 1, Bail was allowed at £25 each with one surety of £25. (
