INCORPORATION OF P.G.A.
Redrafting Of Rules Approved
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, September 23. The former New Zealand amateur golf chiinpion. E. J. McDougall, who turned prolessional last year, will be able to join the New Zealand Professional Golfers’ Association after a probationary period of one year. This year, however, will not start until the association is incorporated. The president of the association (Mr R. A Jackson) said today a special meeting yesterday* had approved a i edrafting of the rules. The association would be incorporated within the next year, he said. Professionals, who were not previously members of the P.G.A., and who accept nositions in sports stores are barred from joining the association.
