NEW BOTANY DIVISION HEADQUARTERS. —The erection of the new headquarters of the Botany Division of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research at Lincoln has now reached an advanced stage. The dominating feature of the building is the steel portal framed herbarium, on the right, with a roof design which is a variation of the saw-tooth roof construction. About 120,000 dried plant specimens, some Collected as long ago as the 1890’s, will be transferred to the herbarium when it is occupied.
