Spraying Permits
Farmers are reminded that thi Apiaries Protection Regulations came into force again on September 1 and will be in operation until March 31. During this period it is obligatory op persons spraying brassica crops or leguminous plants in flower or containing flower plants likely to attract bees to secure a permit to spray. Applications for these permits should be made to the nearest office of the Department of Agriculture.
