Meeting Of Delegates In Timaru Problems connected with the amalgamation of kindergarten associations into districts will be a major topic for discussion when delegates meet at the annual conference of the New Zealand Free Kindergarten .Union to be held m Timaru from September 22 to Another important subject will be national control of the training of kindergarten teachers. Methods by which areas can contribute to the training costs of kindergarten teachers will be dealt with. At present the four main centres are responsible for financing kindergarten teacher training.
Delegates from the Christchurch Free Kindergarten Association will be Mr C. O. Mathias, Mrs A. J. Dearsley, Miss N. Tyndall, and Mr W. Morris. Mrs A. F Johnson (president of the Christchurch association) will attend as Dominion vice-president, and Mrs B. K. McCreanor as immediate past-president. The Dominion executive will meet in Timaru immediately before and after the general conference.
