COMMERCIAL Sharemarket Closes On Firm Note

Share prices were firm at the close of the week’s trading on the Christchurch Stock Exchange yesterday. Gains were made by Canterbury Frozen Meat, Standard Insurance, Clyde Industries, Cox Bros., Reid Rubber, Waltons and Wilsons Cement. M.C.P. sold at 5s 3d, unchanged, and at 5s 4d. Email and G. J.
