Town Hall
Sir, —Replying to “M.T..” as this correspondent will know, the City Council has already decided to build a town hall and has announced that it has chosen the library site for this purpose. Any questions that Town Hall Promotion may ask candidates fo r the municipal elections will be in the nature of what degree of priority they will accord the project. The determination of the •City Council to build a town hall is evident from the fact that it has over a number of years been accumulating a fund, and now has over £BO,OOO. —Yours, etc., C. L. MARTIN, Chairman. General Committee, Town Hall Promotion Inc. September 16, 1959.
