TRANS-ISLAND AIRWAYS
Winding-Up Petition Adjourned
A petition to wind up TransIsland Airways, Ltd., was adjourned to October 21 by Mr Justice Henry in the Supreme Court yesterday. Appearing for the company, Mr H. W. Hunter said that it was at present engaged in certain nego-
tiations which, if they came to fruition, might be more advantageous to the creditors than if a winding-up order were made immediately. Mr J. G. Leggat appeared for the Christchurch City Council, which brought the petition.
