Obituary MR J. M. DAVIES
(New Zeatana Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 16.
Known to thousands of former servicemen in his capacity as managing-editor of the Returned Services’ Association “Review” from 1941 to 1954, Mr John Morgan Davies died in hospital in Wellington yesterday. A native of Wales, Mr Davies served in the Royal Navy in World War I, and was awarded the Croix de Guerre. In 1921 he came to New Zealand where he was employed on newspapers in Christchurch, Auckland and Wellington.
