GALINA ULANOVA, the great Russian ballerina, who is among 36 Bolshoi Theatre artists awarded special honours by the Soviet Government. Ulanova was awarded the Order of the Red Banner, according to Moscow Radio. Other artists honoured included the ballet director, Yuriy Fay er, a veteran of more than 35 years at the Bolshoi, and Yuriy Zhdanov, Ulanova’s dancing partner.— Moscow, September 16.
