The results of the British Drama League’s one-act playwriting competition announced today were:— Open section: Miss Jean Lawrence (Blenheim) 1, Mrs N. J. Krinkle (Motueka) 2, Miss M. Elder (Port Chalmers) 3 and 4. Women's section: Mrs A. Glenday (Palmerston North 1, Mrs K. Mooney (Napier) 2.
