Student Dies Of Injuries

AUCKLAND, August 30.
A Christchurch student died in Auckland Hospital tonight from severe head injuries received when he fell from a cargo boom to the deck of the liner Ruahine on August 15. He was
Alfred Robert Page, aged 21, formerly of Aynsley terrace, Opawa, son of the late Dr. R. O. Page and Mrs N. G. Page.
With his mother and sister, Miss S. G. Page, Mr Page was on his way to England where he was to continue his studies. The Ruahine, which was 10 hours out from Auckland, had to return to port to land him. •
Mr Page was to have studied mathematics at Cambridge University and Miss Page, a chemist, was to have studied nerve chemistry at London University. Mrs Page and Miss Page remained at Auckland after the Ruahine returned.
