TORPEDO LANDS IN GARDEN.—Children sitting in front of a torpedo which, after being fired from a nearby naval testing station, doubled on its tracks and hurtled 40ft into the air before landing in a garden at Clareville Beach, near Sydney. The torpedo narrowly missed a yacht. A naval crash boat sped across the bay and retrieved the runaway from the garden.
